What are AI tokens, and what do they get me?
Tokens are how AI usage is measured - roughly a word and a half of text each, counting both the question and the answer. In practice one dashboard chat question, or one suggestion in the chart editor, averages about 5,000 tokens, so a plan including 5 million tokens covers around a thousand of them a month. Every plan includes an allowance, and your usage against it is shown in the app under Settings, broken down by where it was spent.
What happens if I use all of my AI tokens?
AI features pause for the rest of the calendar month and everything else keeps working normally - dashboards, charts, embeds and scheduled reports are unaffected. Your allowance resets on the first of the next month, and you can move to a larger plan at any time to raise it. Tractorscope never bills you for AI beyond what your plan includes.
