Add Content buttons
On the top right of the dashboard page, there are buttons to:
- Add chart
- Add text
- Add image
Add Text
Adding Text creates a new text field on the dashboard. Click the text to edit it.
The 4-way arrow icon is for moving the text box. The pencil icon opens the style drawer. The hamburger menu is where you can delete the text box.
Text Settings
Opening the Text Settings drawer reveals the following options:
- Size
- Weight
- Alignment within the text box
Chart Padding adds space around the text.
Chart Styles edit the text and background colors. These override the main dashboard styles.
All style changes are saved automatically.
Add Image
Add Image to create a new empty Image box on the dashboard.
Upload Image
Browse for the image to fill this box. Note the similar controls in the top right to the Text box; Move, Image Settings, and the hamburger menu (Upload Image, Delete).
JPEG and PNG (Transparent also) are the supported image types.
Upload images at the size they should be displayed, 72dpi and optimized for web use.
Edit Image Settings
Image Settings
Size controls how the image is displayed inside the image frame:
- Cover - Image fills frame and will crop
- Contain - Image fits within frame with no cropping
- Auto - Image displays full size
Position X and Y:
- Left
- Center
- Right
Repeat provides multiple options for tiling images within the image frame.
Chart Padding adds space around the text.
Fine tune
Resize the text and image boxes by dragging the lower right-hand corners. Once aligned, you can tweak the text position settings to align everything perfectly.
Replace or Delete image
Open the hamburger menu to modify.
