KPI and number charts show one important metric clearly. They are often placed near the top of a dashboard.
Common KPI examples
- Total revenue
- Active users
- Conversion rate
- Open tickets
- Average order value
- Churn rate
SQL shape
Return one row with one or more values:

Number charts can compare a value to a goal or maximum. This is useful for progress, utilization, quota, and threshold-style KPIs.
Tips
- Format numbers as currency, percent, or plain numbers as appropriate.
- Use short chart names.
- Add supporting trend charts below important KPIs.
- Avoid putting too many KPI cards on one dashboard.
